From October 19 to 22, AOG Patagonia 2026 took place at Espacio DUAM in Neuquén, Argentina. Organized by the Argentine Oil and Gas Institute (IAPG), the exhibition brought together oil and gas operators, suppliers, investors, and industry experts.
With more than 26,000 visitors and 590 exhibiting companies, the event once again established itself as one of the industry’s leading platforms for knowledge exchange, networking, and business development.
BigSur Energy participated in the event, engaging in discussions about the future of the industry, investment opportunities, and the development of new energy solutions.
Vaca Muerta and the Challenges of a Growing Industry
The 2026 edition focused on the conditions needed to support Vaca Muerta’s continued growth and strengthen the competitiveness of the energy sector.
Throughout the event, discussions addressed key topics such as project financing, infrastructure development, supply chain capabilities, and the adoption of new technologies in production processes.
The agenda featured CEO meetings, technical conferences, training sessions, and business networking opportunities, bringing together stakeholders from across the energy ecosystem.
Against this backdrop, one of the industry’s main challenges is developing infrastructure capable of supporting increased activity while making efficient use of available resources.

New Opportunities to Connect Energy and Technology
For BigSur Energy, participating in AOG Patagonia 2026 provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with industry leaders, exchange perspectives, and explore new possibilities for collaboration.
The company develops modular power generation solutions that utilize natural gas available from upstream and midstream operations to power high-performance computing infrastructure.
This model brings together two major global trends: the growing demand for energy and the expansion of digital infrastructure.
With operational experience in the United States and projects under development in Argentina, BigSur Energy continues to advance its growth strategy and strengthen its presence within Vaca Muerta’s energy ecosystem.
Participation in AOG Patagonia 2026 marks another step in this journey, fostering industry dialogue and identifying opportunities to develop energy infrastructure aligned with evolving market demands.
